Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests

For a Proof of Incarceration, you have two options:

1. Drop off a $10 money order up to the Wayne County Jail Criminal Justice Complex front desk or
2. Mail a written request to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Officer (5301 Russell Detroit MI 48211) to include the $10 money order.

You must provide name and incarceration date(s) of incarceration you want.

You have two options for receiving it:

1. Include a return stamped envelope with request or
2. Pick up the Proof of Incarceration at the WCJ Criminal Justice Complex
